John Franklin Bardin - Devil Take The Blue -Tail Fly

John Franklin Bardin was one of lesser known crime writers, but as it usually is with lesser known crime writers pretty good. His mother was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and he had some issues as a kid, so he wrote three very good crime novels.

This one tells a story about woman released from mental institution where she tries to go on with her life. But unfortunately, her sorrowful past catch on her as it usually does. Very disturbing and paranoid novel bordering on horror with deep psychological insights into unstable mind, just like other two he has written.
