Interesting novel about depressed alcoholic who used to love to paint. As he was cleaning dishes in some bar, unstable young alcoholic came to him and they made friendship. They spend some time together, until he realized she was some kind of slut and beyond helping. They also decided to kill each other, but things went very badly, as protagonist killled her but failed to kill himself. He then went to prison and examining and some shit, and after some investigation they set him free, which he didn't like at all. So he went out as free man. Not a bad novel, but somehow pathethic with all of protagonist whining and complaining.
