David Goodis - Down There




Down There is very good noir novel about piano player working in some dirty nightclub after his promising career as pianist went down the drain.  He had two brothers who were in some shady business and incidentally he became involved with them as two gangsters were hunting one of his brothers for some cash he stole from mob organization he was working for.
