Although made for tv, this movie is beautifully shot and directed with intense colors and splendid interior and exterior. Based on Cornell Woolrich story, it's about sad woman called Martha who have sick mother. After she dies some sadistic brute marries her and tortures her (good performance) until she ends up as invalid and psychiatric patient, like her mother was.
