Monsieur Hire is very good french thriller movie by famous director Patrice Leconte, old pervert. Based on novel by crime writer George Simenon it tells a story about lonesome neighbor and odd couple. Lonesome man learns a secret they are holding because he is secretly in love with his girlfriend. In the end he kills himself. Good performance by Sandrine Bonnaire.
