Pana and netvor (1978)

By the same director who made Morgiana comes another good movie, this time adaptation of a famous fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. Amongst numerous film adaptations of Beauty and the Beast this one clearly stands out. Beautifully shot and with great photography and score. Practical special effects are something to look at and think for a moment especially in these days when everything is computer generated. Zdena Studenkova does a very good job as Beauty with her golden hair and blue eyes.
